The POE Vortex Coil generates a large electromagnetic field output using a small input power consumption. For PEMF (Pulsed Electro Magnetic Field) therapy, these large fields are quite beneficial and exciting!
As stated by Dr. Oz on a recent televised production,
“PEMFs work to: Reduce pain, inflammation, the effects of stress on the body, and platelet adhesion. Improve energy, circulation, blood and tissue oxygenation, sleep quality, blood pressure and cholesterol levels, the uptake of nutrients, cellular detoxification and the ability regenerate cells.
· Balance the immune system and stimulate RNA and DNA.
· Accelerate repair of bone and soft tissue.
· Relax muscles.
PEMFs have been
used extensively for decades for many conditions and medical disciplines, and
results can be seen in animals as well as humans. The National Institutes of
Health have made PEMFs a priority for research. In fact, many PEMF devices have already been approved by the FDA, some specifically to fuse broken bones, wound healing, pain
and tissue swelling, and treat depression. Most therapeutic PEMF devices are
considered safe by various standards and organizations.”
For most areas of the body, frequencies ranging from 1-20 hertz
are used; although higher frequencies have also been found to have therapeutic
effects. The session times can vary depending on drive power; but most low
energy systems (like the Mobile Vortex Pulsers) are used from 30-60 mins any
time during the day.
When applied to
TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation), this same approach has been used to
treat various conditions; including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and
epilepsy. The frequencies used for these sessions are typically 1-10 hertz with
shorter sessions ranging from 1-5 minutes. Of course, the desired brainwave
state must be considered depending the time of day and/or setting. For example,
pulsing with slower frequencies would be ideal before bed; while more rapid
frequencies would be optimal during the day.
For athletes, PEMF therapy can shorten recovery time in between exercise sessions; leading to faster muscle development with less injury. Healthy individuals can also use PEMFs for day to day health maintenance and/or stress relief. PEMF also makes for a convenient and effective way to rejuvenate our furry friends!
